…Flood Warning until this afternoon, 2:15 p.m. CDT…

* WHAT…Flooding in cities and small rivers due to excessive
Rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Alabama, including the following
County, Montgomery.

* WHEN…Until 2:15pm CDT.

* IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low lying areas and areas with poor drainage.
Overflowing areas with poor drainage.

* MORE DETAILS…
– At 121 o’clock CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
Thunderstorms. This will result in urban and small river banks
Flooding. Between 2.5 and 5 centimeters of rain fell.
– Additional rainfall of up to 1 inch is expected over
the region. This additional rain will lead to minor flooding.
– Places where flooding will occur include…
Montgomery, Pike Road, Pinedale, Snowdoun, Hyundai Motors of
Alabama, Alabama State University, Hope Hull, Alabama State
Capitol, Woodcrest, Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, Eastdale
Shopping Center, Gunter Air Force Base, Auburn University in Montgomery,
Maxwell Air Force Base, Lagoon Park, Montgomery Zoo,
Pintlala, Boylston, Sprague and Barachias.
