Sean “Diddy” Combs issues statement from prison calling Kim Porter’s memoirs “fake”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has issued a statement from prison calling incriminating memoirs allegedly written by his late ex-wife Kim Porter a fabrication.

The 54-year-old music mogul and father of seven was arrested on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking, organized crime and solicitation for the purpose of prostitution. Although he has pleaded not guilty to the charges, he has been denied bail twice and remains in jail.

In the 60-page book entitled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey to Justice from the Other Side…, The book is said to be full of grammatical and spelling errors and contains a number of graphic allegations about the imprisoned rapper’s sexual conduct, including accusations of physical abuse.

His lawyer, Erica Wolf, said in a statement: “Kim Porter’s ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.”

“Contrary to the fabrications in his disgusting ‘memoirs,’ it is an established fact that Mrs Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.”

Porter and Combs’ children also distanced themselves from the book in a statement: “We have heard so many hurtful and false rumors about the relationship between our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs, and the tragic death of our mother that we feel the need to talk about it.”

In a 14-page indictment, prosecutors allege that Combs coerced and drugged women to participate in recorded “highly orchestrated performances” of sexual acts – which he called “freak offs” – that sometimes lasted several days and often involved male prostitutes. More than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricants were found at Combs’ property.

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, denied any allegations of wrongdoing and claimed his client was “an innocent man who has nothing to hide.”

He said: “Mr. Combs is a fighter, he will fight to the end.”

The music mogul was also recently hit with a $100 million default judgment against Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith for alleged sexual assault at a 1997 party.

The Lenawee County District Court judge awarded the compensation to Cardello-Smith, an inmate who filed the lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting him at a party 30 years ago. Combs has vigorously denied any wrongdoing.
