‘America’s Got Talent’: Why the winner may not even get close to $1 million

The 19th season of America’s Got Talent ends tonight, Tuesday, September 24, when the last 10 acts fight for the chance to go to the new AGT Champion and go home with a huge cash prize.

But how much exactly does the AGT Do winners deserve it? Well, that depends. The winner of the NBC competition series is entitled to a whopping $1,000,000, but they don’t get the prize money all at once.

Public voting for the winner is now closed, but fans can tune in tonight at 9pm ET/6pm PT on NBC to see who emerges victorious. The evening kicks off at 8pm ET/5pm PT with an hour-long countdown special looking back at the Season 19 performances.

For those unable to watch live, the episode will be available to Peacock subscribers tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25, starting at approximately 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT. Viewers can also stream NBC on the streaming service fubo.
