Father spends a year transforming his backyard into a dream wedding venue

Many brides start dreaming about their wedding as little girls. They have planned every detail for their special day. From a beautiful white dress to gorgeous bouquets to the perfect place to say “I do” – some brides want it all.

When her boyfriend Brandon proposed, Madi Proz knew she wanted to have her fairytale celebration at her parents’ home. Her father wasted no time in making the house and grounds perfect for his daughter’s wedding.

Madi shared a video of her father hard at work around the house on Instagram with the caption, “Dad hasn’t stopped this past year. Getting married in my parents’ house was truly a dream come true and wouldn’t have been possible without all his hard work. I am eternally grateful.”

The video is a montage of her father mowing the lawn, cleaning, painting, and building to create a place every bride dreams of. The place is certainly picturesque and lush, and 100% her father’s work. There’s no doubt it was a labor of love, and people couldn’t get enough of it.

Father’s wedding efforts went viral

The house was already beautiful, but Madi’s dad put a lot of work into it. One person wrote, “With this lot and THIS view, he definitely could have afforded to hire people to do all this. But he didn’t. He wanted to do it for his daughter. She is so loved.”

Others want to adopt him. Like this person who wrote: “He is now a community dad and this video is our take-a-book-leave-a-book video of our childhood dreams come true.”

This woman lost her father, but she liked Madi’s video. “Stop it. I don’t have my dad anymore, my little brother is going to walk me down the aisle in a few months. Girls who still have their dads, and dads like THIS one, are beyond blessed.”

Congratulations, Madi and Brandon. Sir, you have a lot to live up to with a father-in-law like that, but we have a feeling you are up to the challenge.
