Bruce Willis spotted on a rare outing in Brentwood despite dementia

Bruce Willis was recently spotted making a rare public appearance despite his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia.

The appearance comes after an emotional update from his daughter about his health. Tallulah Williswho said that the “Die Hard” star was “stable,” but that under the circumstances it was “good” and “tough.”

Bruce Willis’ family is reportedly “grateful” for the time they have spent with him, but a source claims they fear they “may not have much time left” with the actor.

Bruce recently made a rare public appearance on the streets of Brentwood, California, as he continues to battle dementia.

The “Pulp Fiction” star was seen in the passenger seat of a vehicle wearing a blue zip-up jacket over a T-shirt. Next to Willis sat an unidentified person wearing a gray hoodie.

In other photos, the Hollywood star appeared annoyed as he observed his surroundings while driving.

Bruce was first diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects speech due to brain damage, in 2022, forcing him to end his illustrious career to focus on his health.

Less than a year later, however, his condition progressed to a rare and aggressive form of frontotemporal dementia.

Bruce’s sighting came just days after his daughter Tallulah appeared on the Today Show, where she gave an emotional update on her father’s condition and talked about how he is coping with his dementia diagnosis.

“He is doing well, which is good and hard in this situation. There are painful days, but there is so much love,” said the 30-year-old fashion designer.

She noted that her blended family, including her two other sisters Rumer and Scout from their mother Demi Moore and her younger half-siblings Mabel and Evelyn from stepmother Emma Heming, “cherished” the time spent with Bruce.

“It really taught me not to take any moment for granted, and I really think we would be best friends,” she explained. “I think he’s very proud of me. You have to be in the moment. You have to be present.”

Bruce and Moore married in 1987 but divorced in 2000. In 2009, he married Heming, who has been his wife ever since.

Tallulah’s update came just days after her mother, Moore, appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” where she discussed Bruce’s condition and how he is dealing with it.

“I think he’s doing that, you know, given the circumstances, he’s in a stable position. You know, I tell my kids you have to meet them where they are,” Moore explained.

She continued, “You don’t hold onto who they were or what you want from them, but who they are in that moment. And there’s so much beauty and joy and love and sweetness that comes from that. When I’m in LA, I drive over every week and I really cherish the time we all spend together.”

Tallulah had previously stated that she needed to be in a stable mental state before visiting her father.

She said: “(I have to) approach the visit with an openness to what it means and be clear in advance that I am OK.”

“I did what I had to do to make sure I could just be there,” said Tallulah People Magazine“I’m going to visit my father and spend some time with him. But whether I work or not, I also need some time off.”

The source also announced In contact that the “Tears of the Sun” actor is accompanied by a team of caregivers on each of his outings, meaning that the unidentified person accompanying him during his recent sighting is likely his caregiver.
