Look of the day from September 23: Fade Andrei, the not so big

We cashed in on our Jacob deGrom bet on Friday, improving our odds to 5/1 on the final six Look of the Day picks. With a Monday Night Football doubleheader coming up, let’s keep this winning streak rolling with our favorite bet for Monday’s NFL action.

Look of the day: Andrei Iosivas under 25.5 receiving yards (-110 BetMGM)

The Cincinnati Bengals face the Washington Commanders in Game 2 of Monday Night Football and we’ll look to shut down Iosivas by targeting his pass catches.

Iosivas has recorded just five catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns through two games, and that’s despite playing 87 percent of the team’s offensive snaps. That snap count will surely drop on Monday night as Tee Higgins prepares for his season debut. Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase will take on most of the snaps and targets in this Bengals’ passing offense, while Iosivas and Trenton Irwin will likely share snaps in the slot.

Even if Iosivas gets targeted four or five times by Joe Burrow on Monday night, it might not be enough to surpass that number. The second-year wide receiver has averaged just 6.6 yards per pass catch so far this season and hasn’t had a single catch longer than 13 yards. The Bengals like to target Iosivas when it comes to short yardage and near the goal line, so his yardage potential will always be limited by his usage.

It took Iosivas six carries and three catches to reach 26 receiving yards in Week 1 against the New England Patriots, and it’s highly unlikely he’ll reach that number with one of Burrow’s favorite weapons back in the lineup.
