The Boston Red Sox embark on their final road trip of the season, heading north of the border to visit the Toronto Blue Jays for a three-game series at the Rogers Centre.

Boston comes after sweeping a series and doubleheader over the weekend at Fenway Park against the Minnesota Twins. A powerful offensive performance and a three-home run performance from Triston Casas paved the way for the Red Sox to win.

Casas will bat third on Monday night, while Trevor Story will bat just ahead of him at second. Nick Sogard will start at third base, while Vaughn Grissom will bat eighth at second base. Connor Wong will catch for Alex Cora’s group and bat sixth.

Tanner Houck is on the mound for the Red Sox. In his last outing against the Tampa Bay Rays, he threw four innings while on the pitch count, allowing just one run on four hits and four strikeouts. The Red Sox right-hander and 2024 All-Star is making his 30th start this season, reaching that total for the first time in his MLB career.

The Blue Jays counter with Chris Bassitt, who has a record of 0-1 and a 2.29 ERA in three starts against the Red Sox this season.
