Marvel Studios has released the teaser trailer for “Thunderbolts,” in which Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and other well-known actors play reformed supervillains.

Marvel Studios unveiled the first teaser trailer for Thunderbolts on Monday, ahead of the film’s release on May 2, 2025.
According to IMBD, the upcoming film is about a group of reformed supervillains who are recruited to complete missions for the U.S. government. Actors Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hannah John-Kamen and Wyatt Russell will all star in Thunderbolts.
The film is directed by Jake Schreier, who previously directed the films “Margo’s Traces,” “Robot & Frank” and six episodes of the Emmy-winning series “Beef.”
The trailer begins with Pugh’s character Yelena Belova meeting David Harbour’s character Alexei Shostakov. Pugh asks Harbour, “Do you feel fulfilled?” Harbour replies, “Why do you ask? What brings you here?”
Then Pugh’s voice is heard off-screen, saying, “There’s something wrong with me… A void… I’m just drifting around… And I have no purpose.”
The over three-minute trailer shows the lives of all the Thunderbolt members, including the characters played by Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell and Hannah John-Kamen. The members finally meet and then the action begins.
