Recommended start time for round 2
An American star player in the LPGA league stormed the rankings on the opening day of the women’s Olympic golf tournament, but it was not the world number one and defending champion Nelly Korda.
Instead, it was two-time major winner Lilia Vu who bottomed out on a difficult day at Le Golf National to move to the top of the leaderboard, with Korda battling through to even par despite a slow start.
In Thursday’s second round, Vu will tee off at 3:55 a.m. ET alongside Celine Boutier and Amy Yang.
You can watch the second round of the Olympic women’s golf tournament on Golf Channel starting at 3 a.m. ET Thursday morning. Peacock is offering a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage from Thursday online.
