Newsweek. “When I saw these videos of myself dancing and drinking carefree, I thought it would be fun to make a before and after video. It made me laugh and I wanted others to share it too.”

Although alcohol is often part of the festivities, many couples choose to forgo alcohol altogether at their celebration. According to Zola’s 2024 Wedding Trends Report, over 4 percent of couples are planning a “dry wedding” with no alcohol on their special day.

In 2023, newlyweds Becky and Paul Cribdon told Newsweek how they banned alcohol at their wedding and described the event as “cheaper and more relaxed”.

Although she joked about what she said before her wedding compared to what happened later, Harvey-Osborne said she has no regrets about her special day.

“I don’t regret anything. It was the best party and everyone had so much fun. I would do it all over again,” she said.
