Gabriel realizes his professional dreams, but his personal life is in ruins.
This season, Gabriel turns his attention to his restaurant L’Espirit de Gigi, but this proves difficult given the dramas in his personal life.
Although he admits to Alfie that he likes Emily, he doesn’t take action until he discovers that Camille is in love with another woman, because he knows that continuing will not harm Camille.
However, since he believes that Camille is expecting his child, he cannot fully be there for Emily.
But as he explains in a heated moment, there is another pressing problem in the couple’s relationship: Emily cannot communicate in his language.
Things get complicated when Emily relies on Geneviève (Thalia Besson) to translate. Geneviève wants Gabriel for herself and lies to Emily, claiming that Gabriel said he never wanted to see her again.
After kissing him at her party, Gabriel tells Geneviève that he has no romantic interest in her.
He ends the season by fulfilling his dream of getting a Michelin star, and he is sad that he has to celebrate it without Emily.
However, there is still hope for Gabriel and Emily’s future. After he criticizes her poor language skills, Emily leaves him a voicemail in relatively good French, proving that she still likes him.
