Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick hopes fans will overlook this Borderland‘ poor reviews. The film was produced in part by Gearbox, the video game company that owns the franchise. Take-Two bought Gearbox itself, giving it additional insight into the franchise. The film is an adaptation of their video game series and features an all-star cast including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, and more respected actors. Despite the respected cast, many of the Borderland The reviews reflect a fast-paced film that critics can’t stand.

At the time of writing, the film has a Tomatometer score of 10% on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 50%. This is a disappointing result, but Zelnick does not believe it will have an impact on the property or Take-Two at all.
