The singer announced the birth of his first baby, son Jack Blues, last month

While his friend and longtime collaborator Sean “Diddy” Combs is arrested, a source told PEOPLE exclusively that the 30-year-old musician is all about his wife Hailey Bieber and their young son Jack Blues, whose birth was announced last month.

“He is aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations,” the source tells PEOPLE, referring to the 54-year-old rapper’s arrest on September 16 following recent trials on sex trafficking and sexual assault charges.

“It’s not something he wants to focus on, though,” the source adds about Justin.

The insider points out that the “Peaches” singer has instead been “living in a happy bubble since baby Jack was born.”

“He just wants to focus on being a great father and husband,” they add.

Diddy was arrested at a New York hotel on September 16 after a grand jury indicted him.

Following the arrest, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams issued a statement saying Diddy was taken into custody by federal agents based on a then-sealed indictment. The next day, the indictment was unsealed, revealing that the rapper and producer was charged with sex trafficking, organized crime and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

At the time of Diddy’s arrest, his attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement to PEOPLE that his client was “an innocent man with nothing to hide.”

“We are disappointed in the U.S. Attorney’s decision to prosecute Mr. Combs, which we believe is an unjustified prosecution,” Agnifilo said. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, a self-made entrepreneur, a loving family man and a proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to advance the black community. He is an imperfect human being, but he is not a criminal.”

Justin announced the arrival of his and Hailey’s son on Friday, August 23rd.

At the time, the musician shared a photo of the little one’s foot on Instagram. “WELCOME HOME, JACK BLUES BIEBER,” he wrote under the post.

A source close to Justin recently told PEOPLE that he and his 27-year-old wife, a model-entrepreneur, are “both overjoyed” to become parents for the first time.

The source also said that the “baby is such a miracle” and that “they really wanted the pregnancy and prayed for it.”

“The day they found out Hailey was pregnant was the best day ever for Justin. He was overjoyed and excited. It was a huge celebration for them,” they said, adding, “Justin is already an amazing father.”
