Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Chiefs fans react to Rashee Rice’s touchdown to tie the game against the Falcons
The Kansas City Chiefs offense struggled in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw his fourth interception of the young 2024 regular season, and Kansas City’s running game struggled to get going without Isiah Pacheco in the backfield.
After Mahomes lost the ball on the Chiefs’ first drive, the reigning Super Bowl MVP was marching down the field with Kansas City’s offense when he got the ball back.
With just under nine minutes left in the second quarter, Mahomes found second-year wide receiver Rashee Rice for a touchdown, bringing the Chiefs within one point of the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Rice is quickly becoming Mahomes’ favorite weapon, and for good reason. The second-year wide receiver has developed into one of the Chiefs’ most reliable playmakers.
After the touchdown, fans praised the young wide receiver on Twitter.
Check out what they had to say:
Rashee Rice is developing before our eyes into the WR1 they needed.
