After defeating the Twins in the opening game of Sunday’s doubleheader – thanks in large part to three home runs by Triston Casas – the Red Sox can win the doubleheader in the second game.
Kutter Crawford, the scheduled starter for Saturday, will compete for Boston in the rescheduled final.
Right-hander Zebby Matthews has the ball for the Twins. After posting a 13.06 ERA in his last three starts, Matthews pitched 4 ⅔ innings with one run and five strikeouts in Cleveland on Tuesday as the Twins won 4-1.
