Twitter reacts to the Cowboys’ ridiculously bad start to another game, losing early to the Ravens
The Dallas Cowboys watched the New Orleans Saints win six of six, scoring a touchdown on each of their first six drives in Week 2. The hope was that things would be different in Week 3 when they faced the 0-2 Baltimore Ravens. At the start, that wasn’t the case.
Dallas elected to receive the opening kickoff, but got a holding penalty that set them back. Several penalties on offense led to a punt, and then the defense took the field. At least they were on the field as the Ravens marched down the field with relative ease. It took Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense just five plays to get into the end zone, and the reaction from the Twittersphere was not long in coming.
Here’s a look at the aftermath of the rocky start when the Ravens led 7-0.
About as easy as everyone feared before this game. The Ravens march down the field without resistance.

Narrator: The Cowboys would not be the attackers at the beginning of the game

Their opening drive makes it look EASY for the Ravens.
5 plays, 71 yards, ending with a nine-yard rushing touchdown by Lamar Jackson.
Ravens 7, Cowboys 0

It’s fair to ask what the Cowboys were working on on defense after the Ravens broke through them for a touchdown. Twice it looked like Micah Parsons was caught by a Lamar Jackson keeper. Justice Hill ran 17 yards. Jackson hit Charlie Kolar for a 30-yard gain. Ravens, 7-0.

Well, at least it didn’t look easy… Wait a minute.

Three games, three times the Cowboys have allowed points on their first drive. One FG for Cleveland, touchdowns in the last two weeks.

Edge run, edge run, short throw, chunk play, edge run TD.

D Law looked terrible on this ride.
Micah looked terrible on this trip.
Just sloppy, unfocused football.
