Former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie was in attendance for the Eagles’ Week 4 game against the Michigan State Spartans.

Flutie was spotted on the sidelines before the game, talking with current quarterback Thomas Castellanos. After the game, Castellanos spoke to the media about the moment.

“It was unbelievable,” Castellanos said. “In fact, he came up to me during warmups before the game and said, ‘You can do it, lead your guys.’ The former Heisman winner, a legend here, is still out there, his jersey is still sold in the bookstores or you still see people wearing it. That’s kind of motivation. For a guy like that to come back and say words of encouragement or details or things here and there that improve my game or help me as a leader on and off the field. That’s unbelievable.”
