A passenger plane en route from Norway to Spain had to land after a rodent jumped out of one of the onboard dishes.

The Scandinavian Airlines flight – scheduled to fly from Oslo to Malaga on Wednesday – was diverted from its route after an animal frightened a woman as she opened her food provided by the airline.

“Something like this is extremely rare,” Oystein Schmidt, spokesman for Scandinavian Airlines, told Agence France-Presse.
