ESPN’s “College Gameday” stops in the state of South Carolina this Saturday in preparation for a big SEC duel between Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Both teams have won their first three games this season, and while Oklahoma has struggled at times, Tennessee leads the nation in offense and ranks second in total defense.

It’s the first Southeastern Conference game for the Sooners, who are fresh off a 34-19 win over Tulane. The Volunteers steamrolled Kent State 71-0 despite leading 65-0 at halftime and totaling 740 yards of offense.

Where is ESPN College GameDay this week?

“College GameDay takes place at the South Oval of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.

The Sooners will be appearing on “GameDay” for the 41st time. Only Ohio State (59), Alabama (58) and Florida (41) have appeared on the show more often.

Oklahoma has a 27-13 record when it is featured. The last show was in Norman in 2020, when the Sooners defeated Oklahoma State 41-13.

Country music star Blake Shelton will be a guest speaker this week.

“College GameDay” airs Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to noon ET.
