Caitlin Clark likely has a long career ahead of her in the WNBA, but after that she could potentially look forward to a career in broadcasting.
In a TikTok video posted by Clark’s teammate Lexie Hull, the Indiana Fever star tried her hand at commentating, making calls for the Philadelphia Phillies-Milwaukee Brewers game. She flashed her potential as a commentator, but could probably use a little more experience before she gets in the booth.
Maybe she can get some game commentating time in the offseason, although she and the Fever hope her offseason is still a while away.
The No. 1 overall pick wrapped up her stellar first regular season on Thursday and is now preparing to lead Indiana into the playoffs. Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game in her rookie year and will likely take home Rookie of the Year honors.
In her freshman year, she broke numerous records, including the single-season assist record, most points in a freshman season, and more.
Now, Clark and the Fever have a first-round playoff matchup against the No. 3 seed Connecticut Sun. Although No. 6 seed Indiana will be the underdog in the series, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Fever pulled off an upset and won their first playoff series since 2015.
