MILLIONS watched as Kate Middleton married Prince William in a fairytale ceremony over a decade ago.
And it turns out that royal fans may have missed a nice question Kate asked her new husband during the carriage ride after leaving Westminster Abbey.
According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, the beautiful bride had a three-word question as she left the church.
In his new book, Catherine: The Princess of Wales: The Biography, he writes that as Will and Kate climbed into their “single-decker carriage,” she turned to him and asked, “Are you happy?”
William is said to have replied sweetly: “It was incredible. I am so proud that you are my wife.”
The Future The King and Queen celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary privately this year – while Kate continues to recover from her cancer diagnosis.
In an emotional message to the nation announcing the news of her health this year, she praised her husband for his support during “an incredibly tough few months for our whole family.”
“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance,” she said.
Kate, 42, said her diagnosis came as a huge shock to her and that she and William “have done everything we can to process and deal with this privately for the benefit of our young family.”
Kate and William first met while studying art history at St. Andrew’s University. There, the prince fell head over heels in love with Kate during a charity fashion show in which she appeared as a model.
In their second year, the two became roommates – at this point, according to William, “their relationship blossomed.”
In October 2010, Kate and William’s engagement was announced following a marriage proposal in Kenya.
The lovers prince said at the time: “We spent some time alone with some friends and I just decided that it really was the right time.
“We had been talking about marriage for a while, so it wasn’t too much of a surprise, but I took her somewhere Pretty in Kenya.”
On April 29, 2011, the happy couple tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in London. The event was televised and watched by millions of people around the world.
Kate looked spectacular as she arrived in a V-neck dress by Alexander McQueen.
William and Kate welcomed their first child George in 2013, followed by Charlotte in 2015 and Louis in 2018.
