Julian Lewis, the five-star quarterback of the USC Trojans, will have his game broadcast on ESPN2

One of the USC Trojans’ top recruits, Julian “JuJu” Lewis, will be on the national stage tonight. ESPN2 will broadcast the No. 8 Carrollton Trojans’ game against the Parker Thundering Herd of Alabama at 5 p.m. PDT.

This isn’t the first time Carrollton has been featured on ESPN2. The Carrollton Trojans’ season opener against Woodyard Academy was also televised nationally. Such is life at a high school that has two USC players under contract in Lewis and cornerback Shamar Arnoux.

Parker is one of the best teams in the state of Alabama and faces a tough game in Carrollton. Both teams will be loaded with stars.

Carrollton’s offense will have its hands full as Lewis and Co. face off against Parker’s defense, led by widely considered five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord and four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford, who are under contract to Ohio State and Auburn, respectively.

Offord leads a secondary for the Thundering Herd that includes three-star safety Joseph Holt, who committed to Georgia State. Meanwhile, Crawford anchors a defensive line that includes three-star safety Caleb Smith, who committed to Washington, and four-star prospect Vodney Cleveland from the class of 2026.

If the Georgia Trojans can pull off a win at Alabama, they will be in contention in the league after facing some strong non-league opponents earlier in the season.

Lewis has been extremely productive for Carrollton this season, throwing for over 1,200 yards and 20 touchdowns with just two interceptions. His best game of the season was the Trojans’ 63-0 win over Lithia Springs in week four. Lewis threw 14 times and returned nearly half of them for touchdowns. He finished the game with 12 successful passes for six touchdowns and 282 yards in the air.

During the off week, USC head coach Lincoln Riley headed to Georgia to watch the Carrollton-Gainesville game. This matchup featured USC players on both sides of the ball, with four-star edge rusher Xavier Griffin from the class of 2026 suiting up for Gainesville. Carrollton won 45-16.

Lewis was effective in the win over Gainesville, completing 15 of 19 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns en route to a big victory.

Doug Belk, USC’s defensive backs coach, also traveled to Georgia to see Arnoux play.

Lewis and the Carrollton Trojans aren’t the only Trojans with a prime-time game, as the Men of Troy face a big Top 25 matchup against No. 18 Michigan in their Big Ten Conference opener Saturday afternoon at the Big House.
