(This story has been updated to correct a spelling/typing error.)

Two of the top 20 Texas high school football teams will face off on Friday night, and fans across the country can watch the game live.

Westlake, the No. 1 team in our preseason countdown, faces San Antonio-area power Cibolo Steele in a top-notch showdown Friday night.

The Chaparrals are 2-1 after a rare regular-season loss to humble Atascocita last week in a meeting of top-10 teams. MaxPreps has Westlake ranked as the No. 12 team in Texas and No. 43 in the nation after its 44-game regular-season winning streak ended. (Atascocita is ranked No. 6 in the state and No. 25 in the country after the win.)

The Cibolo Steele Knights are 3-0 and have won every game by at least 23 points. Friday should be a tough test for this talented team after a convincing 56-10 win last week against Brandeis. They are ranked 14th in the state and 87th in the country according to MaxPreps.

Steele High has several Division I prospects, so fans of Pac-12 football, SEC football and more should tune in for the matchup at 7 p.m. The game can be watched live or on-demand on the NFHS Network.
