Sam Raimi produces a new sequel to his alligator horror film 5 years later

Five years after the first release, Sam Raimi returns to produce a sequel to Crawling 2019 alongside director Alexandre Aja.



According to the Hollywood Reporter, the horror film with alligators Crawl Filming for the sequel is scheduled to begin in Europe next fall. The terrifying modern monster movie was originally produced by Raimi, a legend of the horror genre, who had already directed the original evil Dead. Outside the horror genre, Raimi is best known as a director for Spider-Man Trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. Raimi is again accompanied by Aja, who is known for his work on the remake of Wes Cravens’ The hills have eyesThe French filmmaker had his breakthrough with High voltage and was credited on Piranha 3D And Horns with Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple.

Not much is known about the plot of the sequel yet. However, the film is set to be set in New York City and will showcase the dangers of an urban environment. The film will also feature a brand new cast. Fans of the original Crawl and classic horror fans can likely look forward to another fresh take on classic horror cliches.
