Halle Berry literally shone on the red carpet at the world premiere of her latest film, Never let go.
On Monday night, the star hit the Regal Times Square in New York City wearing a look fresh off Tamara Ralph’s Spring 2024 Couture runway. The dress was a feast for the eyes, featuring sequined chevron stripes in silver, bronze and copper and a chunky halter-neck chain design embellished with sparkling crystals. Berry continued the metallic theme with her accessories, opting for two matching bronze arm cuffs.
As for her glamour, she continued to shine with shimmery brown eyeshadow. She wore her chin-length bob in flirty mermaid waves with a center part.
In Never let goBerry plays a mother who lives with her two sons in a forest cabin in an apocalyptic world. In a recent interview with Screen Rant, the Oscar winner talked about what motivated her to take on the role in the horror film.
“When I read the script, I had never seen this world before, right? I was fascinated by it. I thought as a mother: What would it be like to give birth in a house and raise my children for a decade and not see anyone but them and have no outside help and be in the middle of the woods? Would we survive? How would we live?” she mused. “Also the idea: Does Mom really suffer from mental illness or does she really sense something evil? What was real about this character? I love the idea of walking that fine line and creating a character that at the end of it, hopefully, the audience would say: I don’t know. Or there would be a debate about it. That we would think about more deeply.”
