Former A&M Consolidated star Schulman hired as assistant at Georgia Tech

Former A&M Consolidated baseball standout Josh Schulman was hired last month by Georgia Tech baseball head coach Danny Hall as an assistant coach after Schulman spent the past three seasons at Wofford.

“I’m excited to have Josh join our team,” Hall said. “As recruiting coordinator at Wofford, he has proven he can evaluate and recruit talent that fits their system. He has coached offense and defense and knows how to build a successful program. We plan to utilize his talents to take our program to new levels.”

Schulman has had two stints at Wofford. He returned as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator in the fall of 2021 and was promoted to associate head coach last summer. Wofford had a 42-20 record in 2024, recording its third consecutive 40-win season.

Schulman posted a .380 batting average his senior year at A&M Consolidated in 2011, earning him a first-team all-12-5A outfielder spot. He also earned an all-state academic honor from the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association and graduated Magna Gum Laude.
