A group of undecided voters told the New York Times after the debate that they were still not convinced by Vice President Kamala Harris after her performance against Donald Trump.

“It was all disappointing,” Sharon Reed, a 77-year-old retired teacher from Pennsylvania, told the outlet.

According to media experts, polls and voters, Harris was widely seen as the winner of the debate hosted by ABC News on Tuesday.

“She has yet to impress me,” Samira Ali, 19, a college student from Wisconsin, told the Times. “I’m still thinking about it.”

“Nothing is clear to me, and I’m really trying to follow this,” said Gerald Meyers, 40, who wanted to learn more about how both candidates’ policies would affect his household. “I want to know how all this will affect my family financially.”

A Milwaukee voter who traditionally voted Democratic told the Times that she felt more inclined to support Trump after the debate.

“Trump’s argument was a little more convincing than hers,” Keilah Miller, 34, told the station. “I think I rely more on his facts than her vision.”

“When Trump was in office – I’m not going to lie – I was much better,” Miller added. “I’ve never been as depressed as I have been in the last four years. It’s been so hard on me.”

“Trump made the more convincing presentation,” said Jason Henderson, a defense contractor and retired soldier from Arizona. “Harris did nothing to make me think she was better. Not in any way.”

While some voters doubted whether Trump could be taken seriously after the debate, they still hoped to hear more from Harris about how she would differ from President Biden, the source said.

A 60-year-old from North Carolina said Harris had met her expectations and she would vote for the vice president.

Voters who participated in a Fox News Digital panel and reacted to the debate said Tuesday that Harris emerged victorious from the event.

When asked who they thought won the debate, 12 voters on the panel raised their hands for Harris, while only five said they believed Trump won.
