Boxing legend Mike Tyson got a little more familiar with the area around AT&T Stadium on Sunday before his fight against Jake Paul in November.

Tyson watched the scenes before the Dallas Cowboys faced the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 and even had the opportunity to chat with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady:

Paul was also present at Sunday’s game and took on Tyson in midfield before kick-off:

The 58-year-old’s last official fight was in 2005, and we are still a long way from the height of the “Iron Mike” hysteria in the 1990s. Nevertheless, he remains one of the most famous figures in boxing thanks to his achievements in the ring.

Tyson reflected USA TodayJosh Peter explains that he no longer fights for financial reasons. In addition to his earnings from his boxing career, he has also turned to the cannabis industry.

For Tyson, the fight against Paul is a completely different matter.

“I want to perform in front of the whole world,” he told Peter. “For me, this is all I’ve known since I was 14.”

Training for the fight has also made the former heavyweight champion more than aware of his sporting mortality. The event had to be postponed due to an issue related to his ulcer, and he admitted to Peter that he “can hardly walk at the moment” due to all his training.

Rather than be put off by the fact that he is clearly past his prime, many fans will be excited to see how much Tyson has left in the tank on November 15th.
