Hoda Kotb, 60, was nervous during a flirtation with Lenny Kravitz – after he made a cheeky bedroom joke

Hoda Kotb was seen blushing on Thursday’s episode of “Today with Hoda & Jenna” after Jenna Bush Hager gave rock icon Lenny Kravitz her co-host’s phone number live on air.

Hoda, 60, and Jenna, 42, were chatting with the legendary singer at Today Plaza before he prepared to sing another song when Jenna asked him directly, “I know you’re starting a new chapter. Are you looking for love?”

Lenny, who had previously experienced an embarrassing on-air moment with Today host Al Roker on the show, was visibly taken aback by the question and paused to think before answering, “Always,” and then singing the words, “Love is all there is.”

Hoda, a mother of two, giggled at his response before Jenna quickly shot back, “Well, I know an electrifying lady, if you want her number… she’s right here,” but Hoda quickly dropped that and continued the conversation by saying, “Okay, what are you going to sing for us anyway?”

But just before that, Hoda and Lenny had a flirtatious exchange when Jenna, a mother of three, commented on her co-host’s outfit, saying, “Hoda doesn’t always wear leather, but she’s out there in it…”

Lenny, 60, joked: “She thinks she’s clever. I heard her last night, I heard the door open. I was just about to take a nap when the light came on in the closet and I was missing a pair of pants this morning.”

Jenna was excited and shouted, “Wait, excuse me!” as the crowd cheered and Lenny turned to Hoda and added, “I saw you!”

Hoda obviously wanted to put an end to all speculation and quickly said: “He’s basically saying I snuck in and stole his pants.”

However, one viewer noticed Hoda’s behavior and posted on X: “@hodakotb staring at @LennyKravitz,” while Today’s official Instagram account posted a video of her skipping toward him before hugging the singer.

Fans were quick to comment on the video, with one writing, “Lucky Hoda. He is superrrrrrr hot,” and another commenting, “Hoda living her best life at 60.”

A third person joked: “I would jump rope too,” while someone else added: “Okay. Hoda and LENNY.”

Jenna’s attempt to set the two up comes just months after the “Fly Away” singer revealed that he is celibate and hasn’t been in a relationship in nine years.

After turning 60 in May, the singer said he wanted to hold off on physical intimacy until he found the right woman – and it was all because of his father’s promiscuity.

Lenny was heartbroken when he discovered that his father, NBC news producer Sy Kravitz, was having an affair while married to his mother, actress Roxie Roker – a household name in the United States thanks to her starring role in The Jeffersons.

In an interview with The Guardian, Lenny – whose own marriage to actress Lisa Bonet ended in 1993 – admits that his father’s claim that he would end up doing the same thing soon proved depressing.

“He was right,” he said. “After the wedding, I became more like him. I became a player.”

“I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to be that guy. So I had to deal with it and that took years… taking responsibility. Discipline. Not letting my own desires take over.”

“It’s a spiritual thing,” he said of his abstinence and lifestyle. “I’m very set in my habits and the way I live.”
