It’s official: McDonald’s is expanding its $5 offer so you can enjoy a complete meal for just a few dollars.

According to CNBC, franchisees voted to extend the $5 Value Meal in about 80% of local markets. The offer will now remain in place through December. But this isn’t the only offer consumers can find at McDonald’s. As CNBC added, restaurants will offer more local deals and promotions throughout the fall, as well as even more discounts in the McDonald’s app.

In June, McDonald’s announced the launch of a $5 meal plan to encourage inflation-worried consumers to return to its stores for a burger and side order.

“We’ve heard our fans’ wishes loud and clear – they expect even more value from us and that’s exactly what they’ll get this summer,” McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger said in a statement to Food & Wine at the time. “Value has always been part of our DNA. We’re focused on living up to that legacy and offering delicious, affordable options that our customers can enjoy whenever they walk through our doors, drive through our drive-thru or place an order through our app.”

The offer still includes the same delicacies: you can choose between a McDouble or a McChicken sandwich, small fries, four Chicken McNuggets and a small soft drink.

“McDonald’s is all about affordable prices and memorable moments,” added John Palmaccio, owner and operator of McDonald’s and chairman of the company’s National Advertising Fund, in the June statement. “As small business owners, it’s our responsibility to provide great value to our local communities when they need it most. The $5 menu offer is the perfect complement to the everyday local offers customers can find in-store and on the app, like the 25% off any $10+ purchase offer I offer at my restaurants in Savannah, Georgia.”

Best of all, local franchises are still voting, meaning more will likely be added in the coming weeks. Also, don’t forget that McDonald’s Free Fries Friday runs through the end of the year. As McDonald’s confirmed to F&W, the company is also offering a Double Cheeseburger deal for $0.50 on National Cheeseburger Day (Sept. 18), a McCrispy sandwich for $2 in honor of National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day (Nov. 9), and 10 Chicken McNuggets for $1 between Nov. 4 and Dec. 2 (valid once per week during the deal’s life).
