    College football live scores, updates, highlights: Georgia battles late against Kentucky

    Week 3 doesn’t look very tempting at first glance, but you never know when a huge surprise will occur.

    Saturday got off to a rocky start when No. 4 Alabama swept Wisconsin after Badgers QB Tyler Van Dyke suffered an injury on the opening drive. No. 6 Missouri followed that up with a nail-biting home win over No. 24 Boston College.

    No. 16 LSU also had to come back on the road against South Carolina after falling behind 17-0 early. The Tigers did just that, picking up a crucial SEC win when the Gamecocks’ tying kick missed as time expired.

    Perhaps the most notable result of the day was another disastrous loss for Florida State.

      Georgia makes a three-and-out and punts the ball away.

      The Rams were inside CU’s 10-yard line after a fourth down attempt, but CSU running back Justin Marshall dropped the ball and Colorado recovered it.

    • Kentucky adds a FG

      Alex Raynor was Kentucky’s MVP today, sinking a 40-yarder on UK’s opening drive of the second half to extend the Wildcats’ lead over Georgia to 9-3.

    • Touchdown, Texas

      This means that Arch Manning has scored four touchdowns on just 12 throws (plus one rushing TD) since replacing Quinn Ewers. He was taken out of the game after the throw and third man Trey Owens will finish the game.

      The Buffs are back in the end zone after a throw from Shedeur Sanders to Travis Hunter. They now lead 21-3 and the Rams have not been able to generate much offense so far in this game.

      The Buffs intercept CSU’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi deep in his own territory after a missed throw. Shedeur Sanders and Co. have the ball in the red zone with a 14-3 lead.

    • We’re back to the second half of Colorado-CSU. The Buffs looked much more powerful after a slow start to the game.

    • Halftime: Kentucky 6, Georgia 3

      Kentucky ends the half with a long, time-killing drive that ends with a field goal.

      The Wildcats lead the No. 1 Bulldogs, who have only managed 65 yards of offense so far.

      The Wildcats also score a 32-yard field goal and take a 6-3 lead over the Bulldogs with 5 seconds left in the first half.

      Arch Manning continues to be good for Texas. This time it’s a 50-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond.
