Rumor has it that Warped Tour will return in 2025

Are you ready for the return of Warped Tour in 2025? Because it could happen.

According to a report by Rock liningseveral sources familiar with the matter have alluded to a return of the Warped Tour in 2025. The alleged return is being overseen by Live Nation with the involvement of the founder Kevin Lyman.

“According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, Warped Tour will celebrate its anniversary next year with a series of festivals when Warped Tour returns in 2025,” said Rock lining‘S Brian Storm“The rock festival is now managed by Live Nation, although festival founder Kevin Lyman is said to be heavily involved. A request for comment from Live Nation was not answered.”

The Warped Tour originally ran as a full-fledged touring festival between 1995 and 2018 with around 25th unique anniversary shows in 2019. Lyman had hinted at a possible return of the festival under a different name for 2021, but of course the pandemic intervened. There was also talk of Attila‘S Chris Fronzak However, the purchase of the festival seems to have never come to fruition.

As Lynman said to Kerrang! in an interview in 2019 about the closure of the festival:

“Around 2017, it became very frustrating. The fragmented fan base, the fragmented band base, the sense of community and the reason I was involved here and what brought me to punk rock was challenging me and I said to myself, ‘You know, if this has changed so much, maybe it’s time for me to call it a day.’

“In 2017, no matter who I put up, it was always, ‘Fuck that band, fuck that band, where is that band?’ It was just like wondering what happened to the acceptance of music and the love of music. And I realized we had pushed the audience down to a young level – ‘Warped’ became known as a young (tour). But I did that because I wanted young people to be exposed to this music so they might support independent music longer.”
