Fashion took center stage at the annual MTV VMAs on Wednesday at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

Taylor Swift wore a Christian Dior dress with black shorts and matching black boots for the musical event, where she received the most nominations with 10, closely followed by her recent collaborator Post Malone, who is nominated for nine awards. The two took home the first award of the night for best collaborators for their song “Fortnight.”

Katy Perry showed off her abs in a cream shredded top and skirt inspired by Who Decides War. She was joined on the black carpet by her fiancé Orlando Bloom.

Paris Hilton sparkled in a custom Celia Kritharioti dress with an embellished diamond necklace that matched her high heels.

Ariana Grande, Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter are each nominated for six VMAs.

Host Megan Thee Stallion and SZA are each vying for five awards, while Olivia Rodrigo, Teddy Swims and Lisa each share four nominations.
