Shannon Sharpe is known for celebrity gossip on his Club Shay Shay Podcast, but it seems he was the subject of some controversy today (September 11), as the former NFL player seemingly posted sex videos on Instagram, only to later claim his account had been hacked.

“Be careful, my Instagram @shannonsharpe84 was hacked this morning, my team and I are working hard to figure it out,” he posted and deleted it from his Instagram stories on Wednesday.

Following the release of Sharpe’s report on Wednesday, there was a clarification from the athlete. Although Sharpe was not on camera, a woman can be heard moaning and repeatedly saying, “It’s yours, Shannon,” as the camera focuses on a wooden floor or bedpost. Smacking noises can also be heard in the clip, and many claim the man sounds eerily similar to Sharpe, suggesting it is not him. The clip was re-shared on X/Twitter.

Fans of the sports commentator couldn’t help but react to the clip, including Sexyy Red, who posted a meme of Sharpe poking fun at the moment. Other observers also had something to say, with many unconvinced that his account was hacked.

“Shannon Sharpe made fun of Chad Ochocinco on YouTube for being unprofessional just because he was on Instagram live during the day having fun with a 25 year old,” wrote one critic, with another adding, “What’s the benefit of him using an AI version of Shannon Sharpe’s voice, messing around with another woman and live hacking his IG, his old ass has no idea about tech and thought he was making a movie.”

The move follows Marlon Wayans’ appearance at Club Shay Shayanother successful interview for the podcaster, as Wayans felt the need to brag about his impressive YouTube numbers to DJ Vlad of Vlad TV after their argument on social media.
