Connections is the latest New York Times Word game that has caught the public’s attention. The game is about finding the “common threads between words”. And just like Wordle, Connections resets after midnight and each new set of words becomes increasingly tricky – so we have a few hints and tips to help you over the hurdle.

What is Connections?

Connections can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group four words that have something in common.

Each puzzle consists of 16 words, and each group of words is divided into four categories. These sentences can consist of anything from book titles to software to country names, etc. Even though several words appear to fit together, there is only one correct answer. If a player gets all four words in a sentence correct, those words are removed from the board. An incorrect answer counts as a mistake – players can make up to four mistakes by the end of the game.

Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make it easier to spot connections. In addition, each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. How Wordle, You can share the results with your friends on social media.
