The Liv Morgan Revenge tour stops in Calgary, Bret Hart’s hometown, on Monday.

The women’s wrestling world champion was in town on a media tour to promote tonight’s Raw. She was a guest on Sportsnet Radio and was asked about Hart’s appearance on the show and the Hart family’s influence on the wrestling industry.

“Calgary has such a great wrestling culture and history that I’m really excited to be back,” Morgan said.

“Bret Hart is a super icon in wrestling, in pop culture, in life. I grew up a Bret Hart fan and I’m still a Bret Hart fan. I’m so excited to see him on Monday,” she continued.

“I’ve met him a couple of times. I love his career, I’ve read his book, I’m a huge fan of his book. I remember the whole time I was reading his book, I was constantly texting Nattie like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this,'” Morgan also said of Hart to Buzz Bishop.

Natalya is also expected to appear on Raw tonight, although this has not been confirmed. Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega are expected to have a surprise partner in their match against the Pure Fusion Collective.

Morgan also praised Natalya, saying she was a “great personality” for women in sport.

“Nattie is so incredible. She’s a true leader in the locker room. She’s given so much to the wrestling community, both through her work in WWE and everything she does outside of it. She and TJ run the Dungeon 2.0, where they train and have people from all over the world train in all different forms of wrestling. I think she’s just a great personality for wrestling and women’s wrestling and for women in wrestling and women in sports in general.”

Morgan has not announced a segment for tonight’s Raw, but will likely be watching closely as Dominik Mysterio faces Dragon Lee in singles competition.

“This Monday is going to be special for sure and I’m so happy to be a part of it. Calgary always brings energy so we’re looking forward to the next stop on the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour,” she told the Calgary Sun.
