We’ve made it to Week 1 and of course it’s time to start making money with special bets! The 49ers and Jets close out the week on Monday Night Football and there are plenty of special bets to place your bets on.
Let’s look at some bets, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Christian McCaffrey anytime TD (-170)
Sometimes the lowest hanging fruit is the sweetest. Yes, McCaffrey was out of action all of the preseason, and Kyle Shanahan added an “Achilles injury” to McCaffrey’s initial calf injury. However, it would be impossible to ignore McCaffrey’s touchdown potential if he were a surefire candidate in 2023.
The Jets’ run defense struggled last season, and if the 49ers can get within striking distance, that’s easy money in a defensive battle. I’ll take that bet almost every week.
George Kittle over 45.5 yards gain (-110)
The lights are on and Kittle is shining in nationally televised games. The Jets secondary presents an interesting challenge for the 49ers, as Aiyuk has a pitch count after his hold-in and Shanahan will create mismatches for Kittle at the Jets linebackers.
Think back to last season on Thursday Night Football against the Giants, where Kittle had 90 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns on Sunday Night Football against Dallas. It feels easy.
Jauan Jennings over 18.5 yards gain (-110)
With Aiyuk having a snap count, Jennings seems to benefit from his role, especially on third down. Jennings’ point total is paltry and it would take two catches to surpass that number.
With Sauce Gardner likely taking a receiver out of the running, Jennings has a chance to pay off bettors with an easy total to win. Give me Jennings with the easy win.
Deebo Samuel over 69.5 total yards (-114)
Deebo came into the season with a goal to prove something. Not only is Samuel in the best shape of his life, he’s also made it his mission to silence the doubters this season.
Expect the 49ers to use Samuel for jet sweeps and touchdowns for number 19. 69.5 yards is way too low for a total. Deebo will surpass that number.
Our parlay for the same game of all four props is +987, and a $25 bet becomes 246.89. Adding in the Niners’ moneyline makes it +1330, which becomes 332.51!
