Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue their turbulent New York City weekend with the US Open final.
The 34-year-old singer-songwriter and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 34, made a surprise appearance at the tennis event on Sunday, September 8.
Swift wore a red and white gingham sundress, cat-eye sunglasses and her signature red lips for the occasion. Kelce opted for a cream ensemble with a Gucci bucket hat. A fan video on X (formerly known as Twitter) showed the two holding hands as they entered Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens.
They also looked cozy in a suite at the event, where Kelce kissed Swift on the head at one point. Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes also joined them for the tennis outing.

The final of the 2024 US Open is of great importance this year: It is the first time since 2009 that an American has reached a Grand Slam final (the last honor to be held by Andy Roddick). In addition, no American has won a Grand Slam since 2003, when Roddick emerged victorious. A possible victory by Taylor Fritz could end a long dry spell for America.
Swift and Kelce’s outing comes just after several eventful days for the A-list couple.

On Thursday, Swift attended the Chiefs’ opening game of the 2024-2025 season and cheered on Kelce, sitting with his parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, as the team defeated the Baltimore Ravens.
Later that night, the pair celebrated their win at Prime Social in Kansas City. An insider told PEOPLE, “Everyone celebrated wildly; we definitely had a great time.”
They added: “Travis and Taylor both rocked it.”

On Friday, September 6, Swift and Kelce flew to New York City and had dinner at trendy Brooklyn eatery Lucali.
“They sat in the main room with everyone else. Travis was super nice and thanked everyone around him. Taylor looked stunning and they seemed very happy together,” a source told PEOPLE about their date night.

On Saturday night, Swift and Kelce attended model Karen Elson’s wedding to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster. The “Blank Space” singer wore a dreamy cream floral dress, while the NFL star wore a black ensemble with slicked-back hair.
The Chiefs’ next football game is on Sunday, September 15, against the Cincinnati Bengals.
