CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Kansas’ 2024 football regular season resumes Saturday with a non-league road game against Illinois.

The Jayhawks defeated Lindenwood last week to open the season 1-0. The Fighting Illini are also 1-0 after a season-opening win over Eastern Illinois. The two teams met last year in Lawrence, where KU earned a 34-23 victory.

Kansas will be the favorite as it is ranked No. 20 in the nation, but Illinois has home field advantage, so it’s an exciting matchup.
