The Kansas City Chiefs earned a hard-fought win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, and with 16 games remaining on their 2024 schedule, the reigning Super Bowl champions are off to a good start.
Despite Thursday night’s win, Kansas City still has plenty of room for improvement heading into its next game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
Former Chiefs star Mitchell Schwartz commented on Kansas City’s performance against the Ravens in a Twitter post on Friday, making it clear that he was impressed with what he saw from the team on both sides of the ball.
My biggest #bosses Bottom line from last night: This team knows exactly who it is. They already have an identity. The defense is tough, physical, plays each other and knows it’s good. The offense understands how all the pieces fit together and who it wants to be. It’s going to be a fun year.

Clearly the Chiefs are doing something right after beating a Baltimore team that should be one of the top contenders in the NFL this season.
Expect Kansas City to build on its Week 1 performance against the Bengals on September 15, while the Chiefs aim for a 2-0 start to the 2024 season.
