The second week of the Alabama high school football season begins Thursday, and there’s plenty of action in the Gadsden area tonight.
The main event is a big county game between Coach Rob and his Hokes Bluff team, this time against Etowah as the regional opener. Collinsville hosts Fyffe in what should be a great start to the new Class 3A region of doom.

Watch AHSAA football games on NFHS Network
Most Gadsden-area football programming can be streamed on the NFHS Network. It’s a subscription service that costs $11.99 per month but gives you access to all of the site’s content and all of the sports, so you can keep up with volleyball this fall, too.
It is up to the schools to provide the stream, so there is no guarantee that all games in all sports will be available. However, most schools in the area try to have at least some football games on the site. Click here to learn more.
