Johnny Manziel recalled his begging, crying and pleading during his separation from his ex-wife Bre Tiesi in the new season (8) of “Selling Sunset” on Netflix, which premiered on Friday.

In the sixth episode, the exes had a clarifying conversation while Tiesi, a cast member on the show and a real estate agent at the Oppenheim Group, helped Manziel buy a house in Los Angeles.

“My ex-husband Johnny Manziel has reached out because he is looking for a house in LA. I will help him find something, but we will make sure he lives very far away from me,” Tiesi joked during a confessional.

They split in March 2019 after a year of marriage, and reports at the time claimed the former Browns quarterback had cheated on Tiesi.

“In the long run, I still won,” Manziel said before Tiesi laughed. “Would you call it a loss?”

She replied, “Yes, because you are losing me. That is a loss.”

Manziel further explained the mistakes he made in their relationship.

“Life happens the way it’s supposed to,” he said. “You’re in a position now where you’ve gotten exactly what you wanted in life. And I’m proud of you and happy for you.”

“I learned a lot about what I was doing wrong. I was a lost, depressed kid running around the Hollywood Hills, getting drunk every night and living in a nightclub. And probably spending a lot of time behind your back, too.”

Then Tiesi intervened.

“Oh, you spent a lot of time on your back with someone else, but yeah, it’s OK. I still love you,” she said.

“I still feel guilty to this day about how I treated you,” Manziel said. “The divorce and the time afterward were probably the hardest moments of my life and I cried and begged and pleaded.”

In a confessional excerpt, Tiesi explained that her conversation gave her closure.

“I’m glad to hear that J recognizes what hell I’ve been through. It tells me that at least my efforts have been recognized and not all of them have been completely in vain,” she said.

“Johnny is like Peter Pan, he just never wants to grow up, so let’s let him stay in his little fairyland. I have to make money.”

Manziel and Tiesi then walked down the stairs of the $4 million home she showed him.

“We’re making progress,” she said of their conversation. “But I got a beautiful ring (at her wedding).”

Manziel agreed.

“And you probably sold it for Cracker Jacks,” he said.

“I did,” said Tiesi, looking directly into the camera.

It is not clear whether she was serious, as the ex-couple kept exchanging snide remarks back and forth during their private conversations.

“Do you like my blonde? I wore it just for you because I know you love blondes so much. Do you think it will help my sales today?” she said when they first met at the home.

Manziel is currently dating blonde model Josie Canseco.

“Yes, of course. Thanks for the condescending tone to start the day,” Manziel said.

“Oh, you missed me,” Tiesi joked.

Tiesi, who had a son named Legendary Love with Nick Cannon in July 2022, is presumably single.
