Caitlin Clark: “There’s still so much left” after Fever wins playoffs
The Indiana Fever secured a spot in the playoffs late Tuesday night without having played a single game.
The Indiana Fever led at halftime against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday, but lost the score in the third quarter and trailed 74-62 entering the final period.
Caitlin Clark leads the Fever with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Kelsey Mitchell has 15 points while Aliyah Boston has 14 points.

Caitlin Clark cut the lead to 78-75 with a three-pointer, her fifth of the night. Kelsey Mitchell also scored a three-pointer at the 4:03 mark to cut Minnesota’s lead to 81-80. The Lynx responded with a three-pointer of their own.

Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell both hit three-pointers to give the Fever an 8-2 start to the fourth quarter.
Lynx 76, fever 70
The Lynx scored the first 9 points of the quarter before Kelsey Mitchell hit a 3-pointer for the Fever. Caitlin Clark tied the game with two free throws to make it 57-57. Minnesota took an 8-0 lead. Caitlin Clark hit a 3-pointer at 3:08 to cut the lead to 65-60. Minnesota’s Courtney Williams answered with a 3-pointer of her own at 2:45.
Minnesota extended its lead to 70-60 with a shot by Williams at 2:10. Myisha Hines-Allen made a layup at 1:31 to make it 72-60 for Minnesota. The Lynx outscored the Fever in the third period, 29-12.

Minnesota opened the third quarter with a 7-0 run. Add in the end of the second quarter and it’s a 12-0 run.
Lynx 52, fever 50
Caitlin Clark hit a three-pointer with 1:58 left to give the Fever a 48-38 lead. The Lynx finished the quarter on a 5-0 run.

Minnesota cut the lead to 1, but the Fever then went on a 6-0 run. Aliyah Boston had 10 points. Caitlin Clark had 14 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

Minnesota made a comeback in the second quarter and started with a 16-10 run. Caitlin Clark had 12 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell lead the Fever with 8 points each. Lexie Hull has 6 rebounds.
