Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has planned a return and all his fans will probably still welcome him.
Dr Disrespect remained a popular content creator even after his ban from Twitch in 2020. That is, until a former Twitch employee revealed the reason for his ban. On X, they claimed the two-timer DMd a minor on the streaming platform and even tried to meet him at TwitchCon this year.
Fans came to Dr Disrespect’s aid until the streamer fired off a blunt tweet admitting to messaging an underage person. While he denied it was more than a little inappropriate, it was enough to make the streaming community shun him. But Dr Disrespect claimed he would come back despite the haters.
In recent weeks, Dr Disrespect has hinted at a possible return with hints on social media and even deleted the controversial tweet. Despite the horrific confessions, has Dr Disrespect lost fans?
Doc currently has 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube.

Before Dr Disrespect admitted to messaging a minor, the YouTuber was gaining at least 10,000 subscribers per month. In some months in 2023, he even recorded over 70,000 new subscribers in just 30 days, according to Social Blade.
When it was revealed in June that Dr Disrespect had behaved inappropriately towards a minor, the content creator lost 70,000 subscribers. In July, he lost another 30,000. Although he has lost 100,000 subscribers in the last few months, in the grand scheme of things, that wasn’t too much for someone with millions of subscribers.
However, in the last 30 days, Dr Disrespect has generated 50% fewer views. This is most likely because Doc hasn’t made a video since June, just before the drama broke out.
His fans don’t seem to have really turned away from him yet and are waiting for his possible return. However, it is currently unclear when and where Dr Disrespect will actually perform. Since he has been demonetized on YouTube, fans are speculating that he will switch platforms.
