Unlike last year TV schedule 2024 will not end without YellowstoneThe last episodes of season 5 finally aired, a year and a half after its originally planned debut. As proof that new episodes were indeed being filmed, Paramount Network unveiled the first footage in ages, and many were excited to finally see new images. And after Kelly Reilly shared the teaser clip, many fans chimed in with similar comments, and I really hope those in charge are paying attention.

The new clips don’t offer many details about what will happen before the November premiere – but that didn’t stop us from We invent our own theory — but it’s certainly enough to reignite the desire to see Reilly’s Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler continue their love saga on the small screen, according to comments on the actress’ page. Instagram postwhose caption was the following understatement:

Thank you for your patience…

Sure, the replies occasionally express “Death to Jamie!” demands and “We will miss John” sentiments, but considering whose post it is, it’s no surprise that the majority of the feedback is as pro-Beth-n-Rip as it gets. What is perhaps surprising is how many of the commenters seem unaware of the recent news that Yellowstone may no longer be one of the many shows end in 2024Both Reilly and Hauser are in talks to take over their roles for season 6.

Check out the following selection of requests noted in Kelly Reilly’s footage post.

  • I can’t wait!! I wish this show would continue even without Kevin Costner! There are still so many great actors in the show!!! – @sadie_and_sophies_mom

  • I pray there actually is a spin-off with Beth, RIP and the gang. 😢 – @70sborn_woman

  • I watch reruns to get my fix of Kelly/Beth Dutton. I feel like I already mourned when I found out my absolute favorite show was ending. Now I’m going to mourn a second time. I wish you all could keep going. – @mary.duff.1804

  • I can’t wait!! It’s going to be EPIC!! We need a sequel to the series with Rip and Beth running the ranch!! – @mardim1977

  • I pray you continue with this franchise. Beth is the one that keeps me coming back season after season. Kelly, you are a fantastic actress and we thank you for Beth and everything she brought to the show. ❤️ – @joli_conley

  • I want a Rip and Beth show – @nolagirl325

  • I will miss the best female character on television. – @graham1a

This isn’t even a complete compilation of all the commentators who are expressing their hopes for Rip and Beth to continue in some form. And while TV networks obviously shouldn’t base their core decisions on the whims and follies of social media, these and similar opinions should at least get an ear from these network executives.

Why Paramount Network should listen to Yellowstone fans’ hopes

Here the news about YellowstoneThe withdrawal of the setting and the development of season 6 is still more or less unconfirmed by the broadcaster, which recently finally announced another upcoming Yellowstone seriesthe film with Michelle Pfeiffer in the leading role spin off The Madison. Since it’s not 100% official yet, it’s not too shocking that some fans still seem to be unaware of the reports. But the fact that so many are still clamoring for a Beth/Rip spinoff is microcosm of proof that there 100% has to be a sixth season.

I understand that this is a simplistic view, as there are countless other factors besides Instagram responses that go into the decision to air a hugely popular television show for another year, but I’m not saying that the comments should inspire Paramount executives to give audiences more family drama about the Duttons.

Rather, I think that if there comes a point in the process where someone in charge hesitates for even a second, that person should pause and read a few comments to convince themselves that nothing is preventing the retention of the Yellowstone on television, regardless of which other stars are not back in the saddle.

Are Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser asking for too much money as part of their contract negotiations? Read the comments. Would Reilly’s new show potentially cause a costly scheduling conflict? Read the comments and grab some time later. Do mountains literally need to be moved? Read the comments and grab a shovel or two. Whatever it takes, just make it happen, folks!

The back half Yellowstone Season 5 will finally be available to Paramount Network audiences on Sunday, November 10th at 8:00 p.m. ET, while the various prequels of the western drama will be Paramount+ subscription.
