Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift’s amazing plan to improve his gameplay

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce confirmed in an interview aired Tuesday that his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, designed a number of plays for him.

“I know none of the plays have reached coach (Andy) Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it’s her creation,” the NFL tight end said during an appearance on the “Rich Eisen Show.”

He later added, “She’s a little biased and just makes up plays for me. So we’ll see if they make it to Coach Reid’s office.”

Eisen asked Kelce about Swift’s involvement in plays, citing recent comments from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes about the influence Swift had on his team.

“She’s really interested in football and asked a lot of good questions. She started working out plays, so we may have to incorporate one,” Mahomes said in an interview with NBC’s Chris Simms.

In his interview with Eisen, Kelce also revealed that the pop superstar is “so open to learning the game” of football, connecting her interest in the sport with the attention she devotes to her music career.

“I think what makes her so good at her job is that she’s so detail-oriented in every aspect,” he said. “From the lyrics to the music to the releases and music videos and everything, she’s so detail-oriented and part of it is that I think she was just curious about the job.”

Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt said in a separate interview with Eisen that it was “no surprise” that Swift was designing plays for her boyfriend.

“When you’re as talented as she is, I trust her to do anything. And the good news is, you know, Andy is really open-minded, right?” said Hunt, who added that he has no problem with Swift suggesting pieces.

“I would say Andy likes to say he has 51% of the vote when it comes to what actually goes on the schedule,” he added. “So I know if she works something out for us, it’s going to be great and Andy will bet on it.”
