Last week, three Texans won prizes worth at least $1 million in various lottery games.
The winners, all of whom wish to remain anonymous, live in Plano, Amarillo and Pasadena, according to recent press releases from the Texas Lottery.
The Plano resident won a $1.25 million Texas Two Step jackpot in the Aug. 22 drawing, a news release Thursday said.
The Quick Pick ticket – purchased at the Walmart Fuel Center, 6040 Coit Road in Plano – matched all four numbers drawn on the white ball (16-29-32-35) and the red bonus ball (35).
The Amarillo resident won $1,000,002 in the July 30 Mega Millions drawing, the Texas Lottery announced Thursday.
This Quick Pick ticket, which also had a $2 prize, matched all five white numbers drawn (19-23-30-33-50) but not the Mega Ball number (25). It was purchased at Toot’n Totum 3 on East Amarillo Boulevard in Amarillo.
The Pasadena resident won the $1 million prize playing a scratch-off ticket, a news release said Friday. The 200X Power Blitz ticket was purchased at Coco Loco Tropical on Houston Boulevard in South Houston.
