Two men were killed and three were seriously injured in a shooting on Thursday night near a bus service company in southeastern Virginia, police said.
The shooting occurred in Suffolk, a city just over 35 miles southeast of Virginia Beach.
The motive for the shooting was not immediately known, but Suffolk police reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. that someone called 911 to report a shooting on East Washington Street.
Arriving officers said they found five people shot dead, according to a police press release.
The Suffolk Fire Department also attended the scene and provided medical treatment to the five victims. One of them was pronounced dead, officials reported.

Another man was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Three other victims were also taken to hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.
Her condition was not immediately known on Friday morning.
Police did not provide any information about the shooter or say whether an arrest had been made in the murder case.
