1 dead and 1 seriously injured in accident near Lake Fenwick Road in Kent on Saturday
One person was killed and another was critically injured in an accident on South 272nd Street, east of Lake Fenwick Road (map below), on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
The accident prompted an emergency response from Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire and Rescue and King County Medic One.
Authorities said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was taken to a Seattle-area hospital with critical injuries.
The King County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and the road remained closed for several hours while investigators examined the scene.
Further information on the cause of the accident and those involved is not yet available.
Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire and Rescue and @KingCoMedicOne responded to a crash with injuries on South 272, just east of Lake Fenwick Road. One person sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a Seattle-area hospital. A second person died at the scene.
